  1. Kia ora Jack,

It’s Leisha here again. It is amazing to see you have made a start on the week one Summer Learning Journey activities.

You have come up with a great list of foods to take on a sea voyage. I particularly like that you have considered a few tinned/canned food options. These are definitely a good option as they last a long time and the food is safe and secure inside their can. I am interested to know, would you plan on eating the spaghetti, baked beans and tinned soup cold, or would you have a way to heat this food before eating it? I also like that you have considered fruit and vegetables such as carrots and apples as they will be essential to ensuring you are getting a range of good vitamins and nutrients while away for so long.

Keep up the great posts Jack! I look forward to seeing what you post next :)

  2. Hi Jack.

We have noticed that you haven’t done any Summer Learning Journey activities for a while. Our programme finish date is the 24th of January so you still have plenty of time to complete some more activities and collect more points.

Head here to find the activities: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities

Remember, if you have any questions about any of the activities all you have to do is ask!

I am looking forward to seeing more posts from you over the next week!

    Leisha :)
